5S is a five step process for organizing the workplace, removing waste in inventory and processing, removing barriers to effective work, removing potential sources of product contamination, and maximizing quality and efficiency.

Audience:

5S Workplace Organization is an interactive, multimedia, eLearning training program. It is intended for managers, operators, technicians, engineers, and trainers who work in a Lean production environment.

Objectives:

Participants successfully completing the program will be able to:

  • Describe the sorting process.

  • Describe the roles and functions of management and contributors to the ongoing monitoring of, and improvements to, the 5S process.
